Father

My father is an introvert and a naturally quiet man. Then he had 3 children and the peaceful spaces around him evaporated. He used to say “bloody kids” in times of stress. It was not cool at the time, but we all laughed about it later. One time there was a straw hat that did not survive the frustration we were causing.


Now that I’ve got my own bloody kids my respect and understanding grow every year.
