Five unsolicited positives

Today I offer five unsolicited positives. ​

• Whenever I recall road trips, something in my memory seems to have diminished all the painful and boring bits leaving only wide horizons, inspired music, roadside snacks and shared laughter.
  
• Spring in Sydney. 
  
• A freshly vacuumed timber floor.
  
• Sometimes teenagers manage to navigate a path through the uncertainty of their emerging sense of self and the staggering pressure of their social setting to be empathetic and kind to another person. 
  
• Raffael’s Bakery in Haberfield makes a take-away Tiramisu as good as any I’ve had this side of Positano.
