Seven Minute Sting

I've got a new project.

I'm fortunate to be appointed as an Assistant Coach to the Australian under 24 women's frisbee team. The team is called the Stingrays and the playing list will be finalised through a selection camp at the end of November. The Stingrays will travel to the World Championships in mid 2023.

As a part of the coaching role I'll be working on some video content, specifically talking to women who've played on the Stingrays at various times over the last decade. It's called Seven Minute Sting. I've recorded the first instalment with a woman who played on the team in 2010, Cat Phillips. I'm hoping her love for the team will be encouraging for the women trying out for the 2023 version of the team.

Certainly for me it was very enjoyable and great to hear some stories and reflections from Cat. Perhaps you'll enjoy it too.
